Costal Cleanup Day is Saturday, September 23!

Crown Beach-Shoreline and Park Street

Please park on the street or in the public parking area near the shops at the end of Park Street. Check in with staff at the registration table on Shoreline on the beach side of the street to receive supplies and an orientation.

To Reach Hayward Regional Shoreline: take I-880 (Nimitz Freeway) north from Fremont or south from Oakland to Hayward. Exit the freeway at West Winton Avenue and follow West Winton westwards toward the Bay to the staging area. Please check in with staff at the registration table at the end of West Winton Road to receive gear and an orientation.

Wear sturdy shoes/boots and work clothes. Bring: Reusable water bottle, work gloves and a bucket if you have them. We’ll provide litter pickers, bags, and disposable gloves.

Creeks to Bay Day

We will be cleaning up the Arroyo Mocho at Robertson Park.
Please print and bring a waiver with you. Waivers can be found at: http://livingarroyos.org/get-involved/. We will also have waivers available at the event, just in case. Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Children under 12 must be accompanied with an adult. Park in the dirt parking area across from the rodeo arena (https://goo.gl/maps/ZL1vtgbEbCcpSAHe6) in Robertson Park and meet your site captains Ranger Seth and Natural Resource Technician Emily, see you there!

Getting trash out of streets helps keep our creek beautiful and healthy. Oakland Creek to Bay Day raises awareness about sources of water pollution, and is a fun, community-building event for participants of all ages. We will meet at the south side of the bridge over the San Leandro Creek on Hegenberger Rd in Oakland.
