Volunteering for cleanups, restoration and other activities is a great way to experience first-hand how we all are connected to, and impact, the water around us.

Castro Valley Creek at the Library
Litter cleanup and trail beautification Saturday, April 27, 9AM – 12PM Volunteers are needed to beautify and clean up Castro Valley.
During the Clean-Up: Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring work gloves if you can, a water bottle, and snacks (if needed), and don’t forget a hat! Please note that CVSan requires a parent or guardian for volunteers under the age of 18 to sign a registration and hold harmless agreement at the event.

Dublin Pride Volunteer Day is an annual event that provides a variety of volunteer opportunities for the community to give back to their city. All ages are welcome; however, for safety reasons, anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Looking for ways to celebrate Earth Day, meet your neighbors, and beautify the community? Look no further – come on out Sunday, April 21st to the annual Emeryville Earth Day Shorebird Park Cleanup any time from 9am – 11:30! Snacks and refreshments provided, we look forward to seeing you out there! Meet at Shorebird Park (see map below) As always, bring what you can, and we’ll have limited supply for those who show up without:
- Gloves (work or latex) to pick up litter
- Grabber/pick up tool
- Garden digging claw to dig below the surface
- Re-usables: Coffee mug, water bottle means less disposables! Consider walking, biking, or Emery Go-Round if you can!

We invite you on a Grand-Garbage-Go-Getting-Adventure, connect with nature, protect and clean your waterways, love your land while having FUN with your community. We’ll have cleanup teams working “On the Water” clean estuary beaches via kayak and SUP and “On the Land” walking the park and shore.
