Clean Water Program Seeking Proposals for K-12 School Outreach

 

The Alameda Countywide Clean Water Program is seeking one or more providers of watershed awareness and stormwater pollution prevention education for K-12 schools in Alameda County for school years 2024/25 through 2028/29 (five years of service). The goal is to increase students’ awareness and understanding of their local watersheds, how stormwater pollution happens and what kinds of everyday actions affect creeks and the San Francisco Bay. Services offered may include, but are not limited to, classroom presentations, school assemblies, on-campus and community service activities, field trips, after-school program and activities that engage students’ families.


The Program is planning to award up to a total of $109,000 per year to the successful applicant(s). 

Application deadline is March 15, 2024, 5:00pm (PST). There is an optional Pre-proposal Conference on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 2pm via Zoom. Details are the RFP document.
